Honeybee Festival BBQ Competition (Professional and Backyard)

Applicants Do Not have to be KCBS members to participate!

**Please note: We provide one electric service of your choice with your registration. Please specify during registration if you need
20 amp, 30 amp, or 50 amp service.

Professional Backyard
1st place $300 $150
2nd place $200 $100
3rd place $150 $50
4th place $125 -
5th place $100 -
Reserve Grand Champion $500 Prize TBA
Grand Champion $1000 Prize TBA

Participants can save $20 on entry by agreeing to prepare a butt (provided) for hospitality/VIP.

Friday evening Unsanctioned Steak Competition winner will receive $100 cash (plus prize to be announced).

CANCELLATION POLICY - Cancellations are allowed on the following schedule, regardless of reason:
-Cancellation on or before April 15 – 100% refund of any and all paid entry fees.
-Cancellation from April 16 to May 1 – 50% refund of any and all paid entry fees.
-Cancellation from May 2 to May 15 – 25% refund of any and all paid entry fees.
-Cancellation on or after May 16 – No refund of fees.

If I am selected to be an competitor for the 2025 LaFayette Honeybee Festival, in consideration of my selection, I release and hold harmless and indemnify the City of LaFayette, its officers, elected officials, employees, agents, servants and volunteers, from any and all liability, loss or damage including, but not limited to, personal injury and property damage in connection with the festival, which is caused by me and my agents, servants and employees.
